Overview of PPF types and maintenance methods; Knife grip technique and basic cutting exercises; Scraping bubbles efficiently, covering theory, instructor demonstration and hands-on practice

Handling edges and small curves; Understanding correct stretching direction for optimal results, covering theory, instructor demonstration and hands-on practice

Day 3

Step-by-step installation and precautions for headlights; Troubleshooting common installation errors, covering theory, instructor demonstration and hands-on practice

Day 4

Step-by-step installation and precautions for side doors; Complex edge wrapping and contour fitting techniques, covering theory, instructor demonstration and hands-on practice

Day 5

Demonstration and hands-on practice for front bumper installation, covering stretching and cutting techniques; Full vehicle PPF application review

PPF requires patience and attention to detail but is absolutely learnable. The P10X Academy 5-day PPF course is designed to take you from zero to a confident installer on headlights, door panels, and bumpers, with structured progression from easy to complex surfaces.
Demand for PPF installation is growing rapidly as more Malaysian car owners protect their vehicles. Premium PPF installers can earn from RM 3,000–8,000+ per month depending on experience and location. With the EV boom driving demand for paint protection, skilled PPF installers are among the most in-demand professionals in the auto aesthetics market.
None. You do not need prior experience or formal qualifications: the course starts from the fundamentals. We recommend participants be at least 18, and comfortable working with your hands. A genuine interest in the trade matters far more than your background.
Yes. P10X Academy is an HRDC-registered training provider, so eligible employers can claim the full course fee for their staff through the HRD Corp levy system. Speak to us and we will support you through the claim paperwork.
Yes. All tools and professional-grade films, including 3M and Quad, are provided throughout the course. You practise hands-on on real surfaces and vehicle panels, not just off-cuts, so you build genuine muscle memory before you finish.
On successful assessment you receive the P10X Academy Certificate of Completion, and eligible participants can progress to the SKM (PPT/PPA) pathway for a nationally recognised Malaysian Skills Certificate. All training is hands-on at our academy in Bandar Sunway, Petaling Jaya.
