Module 1

Basic Concept of Business: the relationship between a business and its owner, and SSM business documentation (business name, SSM registration, and business details).

Module 2

The 5 Cycles of Action in Accounting: Cycle 1: source documents; Cycle 2: the 7 filing methods; Cycle 3: the 6 accounting journals; Cycle 4: the 3 types of ledger; Cycle 5: financial statements (profit & loss, including sales, cost of sales, other income, expenses; gross profit, profit before tax, net profit; assets and liabilities, both current and non-current).

Course questions

Do participants need any accounting background?

No. The course is built for non-finance staff and business owners starting from zero: it begins with basic business concepts before building up to the 5 accounting cycles, so no prior bookkeeping experience is required.

Is this course HRD Corp claimable?

Yes. P10X Academy is a registered HRD Corp training provider, and eligible employers can claim the full course fee through the levy under the SBL or SBL-Khas scheme. Our team assists with the entire eTRIS application.

How practical is the training?

Very practical: over two days participants work directly with source documents, filing methods, journals and ledgers, building up to reading an actual profit-and-loss statement and balance sheet.

Can it be tailored to our company's own documents?

Yes. Delivered in-house at your premises or at our Bandar Sunway facility, we can incorporate examples close to your company's actual invoices, receipts and reporting formats. Contact us to arrange it.
