  • “I came all the way from Australia to attend a 10 day tinting course. Coach Sam was very professional and stayed by my side the whole time. Whenever I made a mistake, he stopped me and explained everything in detail. They teach you properly here and give you plenty of practice until you improve and fix your mistakes. FAQ

Course questions

EVs rely on a dense network of ADAS sensors, including radar, ultrasonic, LiDAR, and camera systems, embedded in windscreens, front grilles, and side panels. The wrong film, misapplication over sensor zones, or interference with HUD projection can impair safety systems. A specialist EV installer knows the exact clearance zones, film specifications, and manufacturer requirements for each major EV platform.
Yes. The EV Tinted & PPF Specialist course is designed for practising automotive aesthetics professionals who want to expand their expertise to the fastest-growing segment of the Malaysian car market. Prior experience in tinting or PPF installation is beneficial but not mandatory.
Yes. P10X Academy uses real vehicles for all practical training, including EV models sourced for this specialist programme. Trainees install tint and PPF on actual EV sensor zones under instructor supervision.
Yes, and it's growing fast. Malaysia's EV sales are climbing at more than 40% year-on-year, yet there is a national shortage of installers qualified to work safely around ADAS sensors. Because most tint and PPF shops aren't equipped for EVs, specialist installers command premium pricing and enjoy strong, under-served demand, making this one of the smartest niches to enter right now.
The course is open to anyone aged 18 and above. Prior tinting or PPF experience is helpful and lets you move faster, but it isn't mandatory: the programme builds up the EV-specific knowledge and hands-on technique you need, and all tools and materials are provided.
Yes. P10X Academy is a registered HRDC training provider, so eligible employers can claim the full course fee for their staff through the HRD Corp levy system.
