Step-by-step process for removing old tint from car windows; Preparing side window materials and collectible mouldings

Step-by-step installation process for general car side windows

Day 4

Step-by-step installation process for general car rear windscreens, including techniques for handling rear windscreen curves and contours

Full vehicle tint application practice with instructor evaluation; Certification assessment and final review

Course questions

Is this course HRDC-claimable?

Yes. P10X Academy is a registered HRDC training provider. Eligible employers can claim the full course fee for their employees through the HRD Corp levy system. Contact us and we'll guide you through the eTRIS application process.

Do I need any prior experience?

No prior experience is required. The 5-day Window Tint course is designed for complete beginners through to experienced installers who want structured, certified training. All tools and materials are provided.

What tools and films do I get to use?

Everything is provided. You'll train with professional-grade tinting tools including squeegees and heat guns, and practise on real vehicles using films from P10X Academy's industry partners, including Quad and 3M window films.

Are there entry requirements or a minimum age?

The course is open to anyone aged 18 and above who wants to learn: there are no academic prerequisites. As long as you're ready to work hands-on across the five days, you're welcome to join, whether you're a school leaver, a career changer or an existing installer.

What career prospects and earnings can I realistically expect?

Skilled window tint installers are in steady demand across Malaysia at accessory shops, detailing studios and auto workshops. Newly certified installers typically start earning in the entry-level installer range and can grow their income significantly with experience, speed and their own client base; many go on to open their own tint shops.

What certificate will I receive, and where is the course held?

On successfully passing the Day 5 assessment you'll receive a P10X Academy Certificate of Completion, and eligible participants may proceed to SKM-PPT/PPA assessment to earn a nationally recognised Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia. Training is held at our academy in Bandar Sunway.
